		OCTOBER 1, SATURDAY 4H KICK-OFF WEEK

		OCTOBER 15 PUMPKIN FESTIVAL AT HILL-HOLD MUSEUM Enjoy an afternoon of pumpkin rolling, guess the weight of the pumpkin, pumpkin painting, waxing leafs, scare crow making, face painting and a hay ride through the historic grounds of the homestead. 		OCTOBER 15 ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT HILL-HOLD AND BRICK HOUSE MUSEUMS, HILL-HOLD Silent auction of paintings created by Wallkill River School artists.

		OCTOBER 26 HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY, HILL-HOLD MUSEUM For ages 6 and under, from 10:00 a.m. - noon. The event is free to all participants. It will include an inflatable attraction. Magical entertainment will be provided by Macaroni the Clown. Enjoy a hay ride around the museum grounds and stop to say hello to the farm animals. Refreshments will be served and each child will receive a bag of candy. The event will conclude with a Halloween parade. Please RSVP by October 24!

		OCTOBER 27, THURSDAY OLANA BUS TRIP Olana State Historic Site was the home of Frederic Edwin Church (1826-1900), one of the major figures in the Hudson River School of Landscape painting. Olana is one of the few intact artists’ home, studio and estate complexes in the United State. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1965. Cost is $75.00 per person. Advance reservations are required.
