CELEBRATION OF SPRING - MAY POLE DANCE, HILL-HOLD MUSEUM
The maypole dance will performed from 10:00am till 4:00pm with music from the Ramapo Fault String Band. The house kitchen will display HO scale trains representing some of the railroads that criss-crossed Orange County in the past and current day. The Hill-Hold’s front green will host old fashioned games including stilts, croquet, hoops with sticks and much more. Tours of the homestead will be available. |

15TH NEW YORK CAVALRY RE-ENACTMENT, HILL-HOLD MUSEUM
A great educational weekend for the entire family. Many activities and scenarios are planned:
artillery drills and firing demonstration, scripted battles. Talk to the soldiers about their lifestyle
as you tour the Union and Confederate camps. Walk through the camps, smell the open fires.
Visitors can participate in separate drills and get the feel for what it was like to be a new recruit
