School and Group Tours

The distinctive Hudson Valley landmark, Hill-Hold farm, invites schools and groups to visit throughout the year. Visitors will receive a guided tour through the Hill-Hold Museum and discover what life was like on a farm in the 1830’s.
This was the era of candlelight, fireplace heat, homegrown food and homespun clothing. Most of the family’s needs–food, clothing, fuel–came directly from the farm, and everyone will learn how families lived and learned in these bygone years.
Picnic tables are available at Hill-Hold, but larger groups can be accommodated at nearby Thomas Bull Memorial Park located on Route 416 in Montgomery.
